Violence Reduction Facilitator
Mayameen is a Trauma Specialist, Trainer, and the Founder of BeyondTrauma Academy CIC. She delivers trauma-informed interventions and training to support individuals and communities impacted by violence. She has spoken on national platforms including TEDx and lectured at The Queen’s Nursing Institute. Her proposal for the first UK Child Refuge for victims of sexual abuse was passed in motion via the Welsh Government and was awarded the British Empire Medal in 2020 for her services to victims.
