It is amazing to think that already we are turning the clocks forward into spring and look forward to summer days of community events, festivals and fun gatherings. I will make sure that Trafford Collective are present to support and cheer on as many as possible and thank you to any local groups that have already invited us.

During the last month, I have had the opportunity to talk about our work and was delighted to speak at the Trafford Loal Care Organisation Staff Open Forum. It is important that health in the community is aligned to the VCFSE sector and health professionals regard us as complementary to their work.

I was also privileged to attend the launch of the Family Help Hubs at Stretford Public Hall – working in partnership with communities and families to make sure that families know how and where to go for support and advice in the heart of their community.

This month also marks the very exciting launch of the One Stop Shop in Sale – you can read more about this in this edition of The Voice.

We have also been delighted to extend the Old Trafford Ageing in Place project for a further 6 months. This provides opportunities to implement some of the great ideas generated by our older adult community within Old Trafford – watch this space !
