We offer support for people seeking asylum and refugees who have been granted leave to remain across Trafford, to help embed them in their local community.
Providing opportunities to people with a refugee background, we work in partnership with the VCFSE sector and the local authority, with the aim of breaking down barriers whilst treating all people with dignity and compassion.

Refugee Welcome Programme
The Refugee Welcome Programme in Trafford is a community-led initiative for people seeking asylum or with refugee status, providing support and access to:
-Learning English
-Digital skills and inclusion
-Wellbeing sessions and community connection
-Job advice
It is open to those from displaced backgrounds (people seeking asylum and those who are refugees or have humanitarian protection) living in Trafford. We work through five Community Hubs in Trafford- in Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, Old Trafford and Partington.
